Woodinville Garden Club
Tour of Gardens 2008

The Woodinville Garden Club’s ninth annual Tour of Gardens will be held on Saturday, July 19th from 10am to 4pm. Five private local gardens are featured that offer patrons a visual feast of color and texture, unique plant combinations and artistic embellishments.

Tickets for this self-guided tour are $15 and include descriptions and driving directions. In addition to the gardens, one property will feature a sale of quality perennial plants in one-gallon containers.

Gardens of Discovery

This year’s tour properties have capitalized on their unique geographic features and size to provide important lessons in landscape design:

An award-winning garden transports one to an exuberant paradise where the
focus is on color, form and whimsy.
Expansive pastoral views and towering trees are countered by a garden whose
human scale and warmth suit its Craftsman-style home.
Neighbors share a common love for gardening expressed in two very
individual ways in a pair of impactful tour properties.
A small lot makes the most of space becoming a colorful slice of Switzerland.
